Mary M. Wilson
Mary graduated from the National Institute of Massage Therapy in 1998 and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, a distinction limited to therapists who demonstrate an elevated skill level and expertise through testing and education. Licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio and holds a number of specialized certifications, including Timberlake Neuromuscular Therapy a specialized area that includes Neuromuscular Release, Myofascial Release, Positional Release and Post-Isometric Muscle Release and Ortho-Bionomy –Spine & Extremities. Mary offers a wide range of services to her clients.
Mary is dedicated to continuous education and expanding her education and skill level in therapeutic massage and other areas in order to constantly improve on the results she delivers to her clients. One specific area of interest is staying educated with Fibromyalgia and Myofascial Pain Syndrome. Certified in Equissage™ under Mary Schreiber in 2003 and a member of the International Equine Sports Massage Association. She is an avid horse enthusiast and a certified NARHA instructor for Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies, helping individuals become more functional in society through horseback riding and Certified in Equissage.
Mary’s philosophy of blending healthy living and exercise is reflected in her own healthy life style as well as those of her clients. She enjoys life with her husband and son on their horse farm in Seville. To stay fit she enjoys Russian Kettlebell, Yoga, and working with horses.
Gail Edgar
Gail Edgar graduated from the National Institute of Massotherapy in Akron Ohio in October of 1998 and received her License of Massage Therapy with the State of Ohio Medical Board in January of 1999. Gail also completed 77.5 hours of training with Earle Timberlake, AMTA Approved Continuing Education Instructor, founder and developer of Timberlake Massage Therapies. This therapeutic discipline focuses on Somatic Release in clinical massage including: Neuromuscular Release, Myofascial Release, Positional Release and Post-Isometric Muscle Release. In May of 2002 Gail was initiated in the first degree of the Usui System of Natural Healing in Reiki with Certified Reiki Master Michael Vahila. This ancient form of healing concentrates on bringing back the natural energy balance inherent in the mind/body/spirit.
Gail is focused on using her years of experience and education to the holistic, multi-disciplined approach to achieving physical and mental well-being. Her primary goal is to use her skills to improve her clients’ quality of life with the utmost care, compassion and empathy. Gail takes a keen interest in learning, growing and observing the natural world from her experiences hiking, camping, kayaking and bird watching (especially bald eagles). She also enjoys riding their motorcycle with her husband, Tim, and exploring back roads in Amish Country. She also loves spending time with their two cats, Beavis and Mojo, and their dog, Trixie. Gail’s idea of tranquility is to spend time in a log cabin in the woods. Every year, she and her husband travel to Hocking Hills and enjoy the scenery and serenity of the region.
